Lorrie Harris is the founder and Studio Director of

Sunshine Performing Arts. She has always loved to sing and started singing at the age of 5 years old.  She grew up in a musical household having a Dad who was an Entertainer and a Mom who played piano, She was naturally drawn to the performing arts and knew this was going to be a part of her life forever. Lorrie has been heard singing with several critically acclaimed Bay Area Bands from San Jose to San Francisco. . Her unique way of teaching Vocal/Performance enables experienced and non-experienced singers to sing with more power and ease by incorporating diaphragmatic breathing and control.  Her style of teaching includes learning how to sing from the spirit and become a storyteller on stage, and most of all how to get over stage fright, and own the stage.  Being a school teacher for over 30 years and teaching group classes through the Town Of Danville's Recreation Department for over 20 years has helped her to create confidence building private/group classes that allow students to shine on stage.  She has a knack for bringing out the "I can do anything" spirit and helping to build self and confidence within her students. Her  Vocal styles includes R&B, Rock, Pop, and everything in between!

WE ALL HAVE AN INNER ROCKSTARS IN ALL OF US!
